Chickpeas, also known as garbanzo beans, are a type of legume with a round shape and a beige color. They are highly valued for their rich nutritional profile, including high protein and fiber content, making them a staple in many cuisines worldwide.

Specifications:

Varieties:
Kabuli: Larger, lighter colored, and with a smoother coat. Preferred for salads, hummus, and soups.
Desi: Smaller, darker, and with a rougher coat. Often used in curries and as a ground flour in various dishes.

Quality Grades:
Premium Grade: Minimum defects, uniform size, and color.
Standard Grade: Slightly more variability in size and color, minor defects allowed.

Size:
Kabuli: 6mm to 12mm.
Desi: 4mm to 8mm.
